Who we Are

This year will mark the 35th anniversary of operations at PMP Studios, providing Production, Marketing, Promotions and VIP Services. For the last twelve years PMP has been the leading event space in New York City, facilitating over 250 productions per year. PMP Studios oversees the 14th Floor, which boasts over 6,000 Sq feet.

Headed by noted CEO, Art Director, Production Designer and former Professional Soccer player John Stavros who’s career spans over 50 years of sports, fashion and entertainment.  A story from rags-to-riches, John’s  involvement with Studio 54, Andy Warhols’ Factory, the 1st female soccer team in 1977 and in 1990 he founded, PMP Studios in order to combine all of his creative services under one roof. PMP Studios has been setting the precedence for excellence in the creative side of the entertainment industry. PMP Studios is well known for its contribution to promotions of the Champion World Series featuring Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan as well as MTV’s hit show  Making the Band and several of Playboy TV’s most popular programs, including the #1 show Night Calls and Hot Rocks giving Jenny MacCarthy her first hosting opportunity, who was then replaced by Ice-T. PMP Studios has also firmly established itself through a creative network that spans across the globe.

The groundwork for PMP Studios was first laid out in the late seventies, a brainchild of Mr. Stavros inspired by the late Andy Warhol’s Factory. Through his tireless work and continued dedication, John was able to build PMP Studios from the ground up into a world reaching creative community. PMP Studios has been involved with major productions such as the film Bringing out the Dead by Martin Scorcese as well as several other feature films such as 9 ½ Weeks, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, and When Harry Met Sally. John has opened his arms to creative individuals across the globe, welcoming those who have a creative vision to join the PMP Studios family by renting one of the available studios. With over thirty thousand square feet of loft space, PMP owner John Stavros created PMP Studios to produce, market, and promote giving it an edge over any other studio space operating in Manhattan. In addition to the studios in Manhattan, PMP Studios now has offices located in South Florida, Los Angeles, and Athens, Greece.
